Section 20: Prohibition on cutting down essential services

1Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, no person or institution supplying electricity, drinking water, sewerage, gas, telecommunication services, or any other essential goods or services which are being supplied pursuant to a contract for the conduct of the regular business of the company shall, without the leave of the court, stop or curtail the supply of such goods or services to such company until such action is completed from the date on which the court orders the initiation of proceedings in respect of any dispute in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 10.
